I’m always interested in making music. I tend to hum and tap my foot while sitting in the LRT or even when in the toilet. Sometimes I will have this nice tune playing in my head and whoosh! it will disappear again after a few minutes. (Must carry my pocket pc all the time if that’s the case) Have you done any demo of some sort? I did. It was horrible. But fun to listen to. I used to do demos on trash and even grunge and alternative music. I’m not sure if it’s correctly categorized. Since I only record directly to a cassette recorder and overdub the stuff, the result is not good for the ears. Hey, if you are really serious and have interest in metal and stuff, check out Metalcore Bands. You will get to listen to demo’s and singles from unsigned artists. I stumbled across this video from PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) that discusses about how chickens were treated from young to where they are supposed to be, on our dining plate. This one specifically talks about KFC. Yep. Kentucky Fried Chicken. I heard someone quoted to me before, “It ain’t from Kentucky, It ain’t fried, and it ain’t chicken”. The host for the video was Pamela Anderson. (never knew she was into this). I hope the KFC in Malaysia treat em’ chicken nicely because I don’t want to eat a stressed out chicken. I received my income tax form recently. Like all of you who are working ‘makan gaji’, I know how you feel. The more you earn the heavily you are going to be taxed. it works differently for business owners who can claim things like flowers as corporate gifts?? But there are still areas that we can still get some sort of deduction lah. Like insurance deduction, purchase of books, making babies, purchases of computers and even donations. I believe getting an insurance coverage is the first important thing for a young working adult should do before going for cars or house etc. You will never know when you need it. There are so many choice out there but usually people will go with someone or something they are familiar with. I took mine from a good friend. That way I can catch up with him and have teh tarik at the same while discussing about the policy.
