Friday night. While most of the KL younger population goes out to party, (I’m still young mah) I was in SS2 Petaling Jaya to buy this XLR microphone cable in one of the electronics shop. I already got one, just needed an extra one for backup. For you folks who have been around PJ / KL, SS2 has quite a number of eateries, cafe’s and stalls. Depending on one’s budget, there’s something for everyone here. Well tonight I’m having Wan Ton mee with pork and chicken. Really yummy stuff especially when you are hungry. You should check out SS2 PJ yourself for those who never been there.

Drug abuse has been one of the problem that has plagued every nation in the world. Not only it causes millions of drug related deaths, it also contributes to drug related crimes as well. Governments has spent a fortune trying to manage these issues / problems. However, it is a never ending story. Government alone will not be able to fight this uphill battle. I know because I have witnessed folks who think they can manage their drug use but the drugs are actually managing them. Good thing that the fella had a very strong support from friends and family who really wants to help him to overcome that dreadful habit. What really made the difference is the willingness of oneself to change. Do you know that from a recent survey, the annual prevalence of abuse as % of the population aged 15-64 for Ecstasy in Malaysia was 0.4?? And we were like on the second spot after Indonesia. After us was Rep of Korea. What can I say. Malaysia Boleh?
But things can be more positive with the help of a good rehab center. For you folks out there from the US of A, I found a place called narcononstonehawk that has proven themselves as the most succesful drug treatment center in the country. 76%+ to be exact. My bike is a girl, at least I would like to think of it as that. Last night just after passing by the bike shop in my place in Puchong it just went dead. I was kicking the kick start until there was no point of kicking. My legs went numb too. WHat else, push her all the way to the shop. When the mechanic guys at the shop saw me they went like “ei cikgu, apsal? OK ka” (They called me cikgu -Cikgu is teacher in Bahasa Malaysia- and I don’t know for what)

I ended spending like RM88 to change me batteries, clean some stuff , change some ball bearings etc,… I felt a bit miserable…ssob sob. I can buy a good set of guitar strings and picks as well as guitar cable with that.
