Ampang Home Land Yong Tau Foo

Three weeks ago, the family decided to go for the ‘Ampang Home Land Yong Tau Foo‘. This particular brand has a few outlets in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur I think? We went to their new outlet in Puchong. Clean and neat. The service was good, fast and friendly. They taste yummy and you kind of know that it was prepared fresh.

Location? I don’t have the GPS coordinate but I believe this is the row of shops across the road from Puchong Citibank branch. (I know, how is that considered a direction?). Well, the next time you are around there, just ask around, Puchong people are friendly. Well, mostly.

I did not get much snapshot of the full dish. They looked so yummy I couldn’t take it anymore… :D

Gothic people

What’s up with this Gothic subculture anyway? Have you tried becoming one or are you one? No offense to people who choose this sense of style and culture. I find it very interesting though. During my extensive research and study of this culture many-many minutes ago, I found out that it is in fact a contemporary subculture found in many countries. It did began however in the UK in the early days of 1980′s. One interesting fact and most probably something goth people can be proud of, is that this culture has survived much longer than others of the same era, and even has continued to diversify in so many ways. Still not sure of Gothic culture? You know, make up, dark ones especially around the eyes, dark clothing, punk, pointy hairs, tight jeans, long boots and leather outfits to name a few.

gothic

They even have cool dating sights that only caters to Gothic singles. I f you want to get to know some gothic personals, head over to www.gothscene.com. The website is sure living up to it’s name. Dark backgrounds, and people with tattoos is just the right place for Gothic related romance! Did I mention navigation is so easy with just a few clicks and drop down menus? Beside, joining is absolutely free. Now that really rocks!

Show me the money already..

For those of you who earns passive income and are actually reading this when everyone else is still sleeping or perhaps you are somewhere in the Caribbeans sipping that nice cold juicy sparkling lemon tango cocktail, sitting at your veranda looking at the beautiful please raise your hands. (Cricket sound effect now)

I guess so. Looks like most of us are people who works for money and are trading our time for money. Here in Malaysia, we don’t get paid on a weekly basis like some other countries. We are paid on a monthly basis. There’s some pro and cons of such arrangement. You get a bigger sum by the time you get your pay. The downside? Most are broke by the second week after payday.

I used to work in a company where the payday dates are never fixed. You know, this month it will be on the 30th. Next month it’s on the 28th. Sometimes me and my colleagues will be having some crap conversation by asking our IT graduates, “hey, why don’t you hack into our payroll software and just release all the money today?” Then he will answer, “dude, if I can do that, I might as well change my salary to something like our GM’s salary man..” Then we will continue drinking coffee and hope some more.

Happy working dear friends! It’s almost Monday and am I excited!
