The internet connection seems to be stable right now. I have left my friends’ phone and laptop on since yesterday noon. I still can’t watch proper streaming video etc but at least I can still blog and do some paid posting stuffs. There’s still some touch up to do with this new blog theme of mine. There were some missing links and some ads needed to be aligned and added as well. Thank God for this friend of mine.

What do you know. I am now in Kunak, Sabah and boy do I have a hard time getting access to the internet. I was here since 19 December and only managed to get some connection 2 days ago. Thanks to my buddy who happened to have a Celcom 3G connection. Even that, the line is super..I mean super slow. Must be the signal in this Palm oil estate where my dad works.

So, what have I been up to?? Well most of the days are spent eating, “drinking” and chilling out. We even had a jam session ‘Kampung’ style where I played on a badly damaged acoustic drums. We had electric guitars and bass but without any proper amps. We used those amps where people sing and play karaoke music…like how they say it here in Kunak, “OK lah kalau tiada yang lain..” (better than nothing)..loosely translated. I want to post some photos but that will definitely take the whole day to upload, so more coming when I return lah!

*By the way, how do you like my new theme? This year I have a new focus and I need a clean, simple theme.

Last Sunday was really an exciting day for us and for a lot of kids. We had choir performance, fun games, great food, presents, party packs, band performance (which got the kids dancing and went wild) ehem… and even had our guest DJ Ben from Fly FM from the morning crew who helped liven up the atmosphere with his signature ways. His partner in crime Phat Fabes did not manage to make it though…

It’s just so nice to witness the kids from all the various homes that consists of orphans, special kids and others having fun. Our parish own kids also handed out gifts to the other kids as well. That was meaningful.

It started quite scary with a little bit of confusion here and there but it all ended up OK. All of us who were in the committee, the youths and the rest of the parishioners were tired and had back aches carrying stuff up and down, but it’s for a good cause and I would not want to be anywhere else than being here!

Okay I was just fooling around. Nothing serious happened. Don’t worry. Just telling you fantastic readers that I will be going off to Sabah, at this point of time: 1 Day 11 hours 26 minutes and 32 seconds to go. Yippee! My flight is at 7am in the morning at the LCC airport in Sepang. So be there early okay. I will be the guy wearing shorts. Maybe I will wear a black T shirt with the word sabahrhinos.com on it. No flowers please.

I will definitely be able to go for breakfast in the morning when I reached Kunak. I seriously going to have some Wan Ton mee Kunak style with lots of chillies. I thought of bringing my laptop as well but that will be an added weight. Thought of making some music and I just realized I have no guitar in my father’s house. Guess what? I am going off together with my sister as well from Forevertulip.com. So if you thinking of getting her autograph..then like I said, come early!
