Last Saturday, was a fruitful day I would say. I brought along a friend who is about to start his own website too. I actually recently joined the Internet Millionaires Club- a community effort spearheaded by Gobala Krishnan himself (with a little help from his friends?). This clubs focuses on teaching and giving guidance to anyone out there especially Malaysians who are looking for ways to create an income stream from the internet or perhaps already have and are looking at multiplying that income. Whether you are young or old, familiar with computers or not, there’s no reason why you should not be able to have a better quality of life. After all, even if you are not into making money for your own, when it comes to charity you still need money to be able to help people at some point. Meeting Gobala was just like meeting a dude from another office. I don’t see USD falling from his pockets but he is one cool, humble and as ordinary as a person can be. Do you know he plays the guitar? Yep. Other folks I met that I can remember includes Kendra, Khai, Steven Wong, Joey Chua, Rakiwi (who handles Gobala’s blog enquiries),Matt Ng and Sunny Tan.
I had the opportunity to speak to Sunny Tan personally after the session has ended. A few of us did too. Almost everyone stayed long after the session ended while the hotel staffs were busy setting up for their next client. Sunny has recently retired from his day job and doing his internet business full time now. He covered the topic of “Buying and Selling Websites for Profit” and it sure opens up parts of my brain! Not to forget Steven Wong’s “How to Make Money Online Blogging”, that really make you realize how potentially profitable it is just by having a blog. You just got to be there to experience it! Thank you Gobala and friends.
