This guy staggers into a bar and shouts, “A double whisky please barman, and a drink for everyone here… and while you’re at it, have one yourself.”

“Well thank you sir,” says the barman and proceeds to pour everyone their drinks.

Moments later the guy shouts, “Another whisky for me, and the same again for everyone else.”

The bartender looks a little worried now and says, “Excuse me sir, but don’t you think you should pay me for that last round first?”

The guy slurs, “I can’t. I don’t have any money.” With this the bartender flies into a rage and literally throws the guy out of the bar.

About twenty minutes later though the guy staggers back in and shouts out, “A double whisky for me, and a drink for all my friends.”

“I suppose you’ll be offering me a drink too?” the barman asks, marvelling at the guy’s nerve.

“Not likely,” slurs the guy, “you get nasty when you’ve had a drink!”

There’s this shopping center called One Utama here in peninsular Malaysia that most will know about. A really huge shopping mall with everything you need under one roof. From bowling alleys to eateries to boutiques, this is the place to be, as long as you have the money.. he he…

But there’s another specialty about this shopping complex. For those who are ‘tired’ of being around modern shops and all, there’s this forest garden that calms the soul right within the shopping mall. Well…it’s kind of the outer/side part of the mall.

They have these little ponds with rivers, fishes, garden bridges, waterfalls..yeah! Kind of cool. I always make sure I come over this area whenever I am in that shopping mall. Oh it’s also called ‘The Forest’. it’s at the new Wing Section. You should be able to find it easily with the signboards as a guide.

Before you folks say “Of course movies are supposed to be watched on TV too..duh!” that actually refers to movies that are ‘downloaded’ from the www. You see, watching them on the laptop is fun for a while until you start to have back aches sitting on a typist chair not to mention how uncomfortable it is after some time. I tried converting them into DVD files and burn em’ on DVD but not all files can be easily converted and most of the time the display format varies so you won’t have a proper size that will fit your TV screen well.

Off to Low Yatt Plaza I went and I got myself this hard disk enclosure that doubles as a media player which connects to your TV. It supports SD card too so watching movies on TV while lying down on the couch is a reality yet again. Life is good for me..for now.

*I would have bought the Sony Vaio instead but since I only have Rm150.00 in my pocket, we’ll start off with the small stuff first. *Whispers…(Yeah right)
