Kudat Sabah, cough and flu, no reception and rain. Merry Christmas!

Finally my much awaited trip back home is a reality. ‘Balik’ kampung once a year makes me look forward to all this. But before leaving KL, me and some Sabahan buddies (some I met for the first time) had a small gathering in my little unit in Puchong. Yeah, the house with the leaky ceiling. The best part is it’s more like a jam session with extra singers and extra drinks to go by. My friend Walter even contributed his ‘cocktail making skills’. I never tasted or seen such creation but it sure taste good! Sabahan bloggers that were there includes, Tata, Gurangak, Leo and Joe. We sure had some good healthy fun til early morning!!

Reaching KK airport makes me happy. because I will be spending time with friends and family. And more food!! Ha ha. After lunch and making a few small errands, we stopped by at a cousins newly opened outlet called ‘Bubble Penguinz‘. Click here for more info.

One funny thing is, almost immediately after reaching the AirAsia airport, I started to have this flu. And now, coughing is also included in the package… haiyah.. what lah. Is my body experiencing shock?? Maybe I’m so used to the polluted air in KL and when I breath healthy air in my kampung it became worse???? Funny.

It has been raining almost everyday here in my kampung called Popot in Kudat. My phones which uses Digi and maxis had a hard time to to get reception. i had to venture out of the house to send sms and stuff. good thing we installed internet connection at home complete with Wifi. Perhaps the only such fascility in my kampung…

But if you give me a choice between the smell of KL streets and my kampung muddy roads, I choose the latter. it smells like sweet wine to me. Sometimes I feel like writing my own personalized books, sort of a journal of all my travels in sabah which I love so dearly…

Anyhow, I would like to take this opportunity to all my current blog readers, a fabulous Christmas to you all and happy holiday. may you be blessed with all the good things in life!! (Please don’t worry about your weight, let’s focus on that next year)

I wonder what happened to my feeds?

As you know, Google has acquired feedburner.com. As suggested while logged on to the interface, they suggested me to “..hey! We are part of the team now. Why don’t you transfer all the stuff to us Google people to manage??” So that was what I did.

What used to be subscription of between 40-60++ has become like this: feedburner
at this point of writing…

I am not really well versed in feedcounts management and stuff so maybe I am missing something here. Google, is playing God everywhere…. I wont be surprised if they will one day venture into pharmaceutical products like Viagra or even Ephedrasil hardcore?

Let’s wait and see.

These boots are not made for farming

The other night, me and my buddy Gurangak had a very long dinner session nearby my place. I have been mentioning to him that I was looking for a boot on sale that I could use for my sessions at my father’s little Palm Oil farm or should I call it orchard?

Lo and behold! He happens to have this all leather boots that he only used once for one of his work assignments. I offered to buy it from him but like most Sabahan’s that you know, they are all nice people and he simply gave it to me. Well thanks Gurangak. I’m sure these boots will go to places where no other Kings Boots had gone before.

Here are some snapshots I took using my sis DSLR camera.

Track people online by inputing mobile phone

Do you know that you can track anyone from almost any location? Yeah. Technology is cool. Just by sitting comfortably in front of your laptop or PC, you can virtually find out where your husband, wife or even karate teacher is.
The technology rely on GPS tracking using triangulation calculation. Depends on which country the person is at the point of time, accuracy can be up to 10 meters. I managed to track my neighbors wife!
