Anyone lost their dog? In Bukit Vor in Sabah?

My blog buddy posted about this dog missing it’s owner. Apparently it was sitting in front of their entrance gate. The dog has chains and all on it.

Make your boss go “what the @$^% is going on with my pc??!”

phatom-usb-keystroker

How would you like to pull a prank in the office? Say at your colleague or perhaps your boss?

You see, the PC is one very important tool in a typical office. If your software or hardware like mouse or keyboard goes ga-ga then you are basically stuck with no one else to look for other than the IT fella in your office.

Let me introduce you to the 21st century ultimate prank gadget. Meet the *with booming echo filled voice* “The USB Phantom Keystroker!!!”

What this little bugger does is upon your selection make either the Keyboard, Capslock or Mouse go berserk. For instance your capslock keeps switching on and off, making keystrokes and jiggling the mouse around the screen! Crazy stuff man! Ha ha.

Chinese New Year Pre Celebration in Puchong

Regina Memasak dengan TaTa dan Cindy

Regina Memasak dengan TaTa dan Cindy

It’s officially the Chinese New Year now. Here I am in the office wondering where have all the people in my Yahoo Messenger go? Oh I forgot that most of them are already sleeping. (You work nights la you @#$%)
But that did not stop me  and  few very nice friends of mine to do a little get together at *drum roll* my humble home yesterday! Even when there were leaks everywhere in my house, no one seemed to notice.

As Sabahan’s staying in Kuala Lumpur, there’s no better joy then being able to hang out with another Sabahan. I’m sure just like our other brothers like the Filipinos, Myanmars and any other nationality who’s here in KL working, any chance of meeting up with friends for a get-together will be something that we look forward to. It’s one way we can connect back to our beloved ‘home town’ I guess.

So what did we do? Well making lot’s of noise is one of the main thing we did. I was just waiting for someone to bang my apartment door. You see, we actually had a full band setup minus an acoustic drums. But I was using a drum machine thingy so it’s the same as having a drum set (and more) since it also have all the other percussion sound samples… :P

What else did we do? Put 4-5 Sabahan’s together sitting on an empty table and see what they do. Go figure.

Fruitful Sunday it was

The (Peninsular Malaysia) Momogun Society of Malaysia organized it’s first Charity Fund Raising Christmas party here in Petaling Jaya last Sunday. Held at the Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya, it was started around 7pm and ended by midnight. Was it a success? I should say yes. I was a last minute committee member for the games organizers. I suggested one of the games that the folks in Kunak Sabah where we stayed before used to play during their church activities. It’s this egg swinging game thingy. sure made lots of people laughing including tan Sri Bernard Dompok himself.

Other stuff in the program at the night includes acapella performance by Infinatez, choir by the Rungus group from a church in Shah Alam (all are from Kudat), lucky draws as well as er… tasting some of the specially made ‘Lihing’ (local rice wine).

I also had a chance to get to know Constantine the Traxx FM DJ, yes he is Sabahan pulak. I never knew about him before this although I thought perhaps PaPaJ did told me about him or was it someone else he was talking about?

Anyhow, if you have any interest in finding out more about this event, then my friend Leo did post a little story about it. (Sorry Leo I hot linked to your image URL, malas bah no time…) There are others who post photos and stuff on Facebook too.
