Last week was a real hectic one for me and some others. I was in the band for the charity dinner last Saturday night and was also ‘managing’ the stage. It was a real good experience as well. From having to carry our own music equipments, with the hotel not having any ways of connecting the audio from our laptops to a friend who was playing bass that night that had a car accident just a couple of hours before the event.

I think in the end it all went well. We managed to pull it off and the best thing is most people were dancing to what we were offering during the last session. No need for any truck accessories to liven up the evening. We have all that we need that night to make things more fun…. “Lihing” anyone??? he he…

Later this morning I am going to check out the Hartke A25 bass amp combo. I don’t have a bass guitar yet. But this can be used for my future bass guitar that I will purchase. Besides I was hoping this litle baby will be able to let me play my drum machine thru it. I love tha fact that this little amp has a built-in DI meaning going through the PA mixer system would be a breeze! I do have some wedding invitations coming. No- not as a guest but as a musician. So that will come in handy as well.

Now… before you make that next tag or upload those nasty photos of your office mate, remember people’s lives can be ruined. On the other hand, everyone should be aware that almost nothing is private in the wild, wild, Web. Internet cowboys roam free and it’s not easy to stop that Facebook humiliation once started. a word of advice, make sure you do your private settings properly. You can group people into ‘Never let them tag, view photos of me’ group. You can also control certain individuals from tagging you etc.

So, before you humiliate yourself and start purchasing medical equipments that can alter the way you look, set your privacy settings correctly. You definitely don’t want to end up like the person below: (click to enlarge)

Home is where the heart is they say. What have you done for your home lately? Bought new furniture from your nearest furniture dealer? What about home decor? Are you serious about home deco? What about creative ones like those rocks with a hole in the middle? I never really get that one althought it does made me think what are the creative stuff you can do with it????
