Am I healthy?

When I was in high school, my waist used to be 27 inches. Guess what’s my measurements now? Hmmm.. should I tell the world about my waist line? What the heck. I’m pretty sure a lot of you folks can relate to me.. :P

Currently I’m at size 34″. So if you are planning to buy me some Levi’s jeans for Christmas, you know what to do. Make it a 501 please. I haven’t wore one in years. Now let’s talk about the weight. I used to be at 65kg during school days. I am now at 75kg the last I checked. Based on some BMI calculation, I think I am just at the borderline.

So, what do I do to ensure I maintain optimum physical health? Buy some fitness equipment and do it at home? Nah…not really. I only have a couple of dumbbells at home. Welcome to Kay’s ‘Fitness Program for the Urban Folks’. Here’s how I ‘try’ to keep myself ‘healthy’.

Use stairs whenever you have the chance. If you are a rice lover, cut it into half and add more other stuff like chicken, vegetables and tofu. Always keep a positive mind whatever the situation is. Make fun of you bad moments. Always look for ways to make another person laugh. Your aura energy will benefit as well as the person you cheer…and sing or hum a lot. Be it in the shower, toilet, in the car or even while riding a bike. Nothing is more exciting than singing on top of your lungs while going 100++km per hour on the bike! (Make sure the road condition allows and go according to speed limits) Oh and take some food supplements. It helps since most of the food we eat today are really stripped off most of the good vitamins and minerals.

Of course that’s just my opinion. My tummy still grows a little by the years. That would require a different approach I think. :D

Most men I know are heading that direction as well. Take for instance, my hubby. He used to be slim and now…ahem…bless the man with the big tummy. No matter what size you are, stay healthy!
