Another ‘Great’ Monday
Actually that should be worded as ..”great Tuesday” instead since it was after midnight. I was not even halfway on my bike when mother nature decided to show a little bit of her ‘power’. (This is not a when nature calls kind-of-case yah)
It started to rain! Okay it wasn’t a heavy downpour so I got myself suited up with my power rain coat and pants. By the time I reached KL Central area going towards Puchong, it was raining like there was no tomorrow I mean it was heavy! To make sure my motorcycle is not being exposed to danger, I decided to pull over under the flyover thingy. (It was safe because they have built some special lane for motorcyclists that has barriers and all so don’t worry, the bike is safe.)
There was this dude who owns a scooter who was also there with me. We kinda chat a little and I offered him a cigarette and all. Here we are in the middle of a rainstorm at 3am talking about life in KL. It’s cool though. This guy happened to have a Sabahan girlfriend from ‘Sipitang’. And he thinks Sabahan chicks are hot…I mean yeah that’s natural. He he… But it was nice to chat with another stranger actually. I also found out that he was looking for another job due to the terrible workload that he has to overcome daily at his work place. Compared to me, he actually went in to work at 9am and he was on his way back at the same time as me who went to work at 6pm! So I gave him my card and told him let’s see what I can do.
Perhaps the Big Kahuna wanted me to be there to touch another person’s life? I don’t know. What I know is here I am now, still kind of cold/wet since I just had to go through the heavy downpour because I really wanted to reach home and sip a hot cereal drink and to see my wife Lucy.
Trust me, going through the rain on a bike at 3am is one heck of a ride! It’s freaking cold!

yeah… u remind me my uni days in kl years ago… riding honda-cup in the rain at 2am after swallowing some roti banjir @ benteng was really freakin’ cold….
Massy- I did not have much choice anyway. Just two of us under the flyover thing.. yah rain will clean up whatever mess and freshen up the day.
Pai- Touching huh? Ya lah. Hopefully he give me a call and I could arrange for an interview ka apa kah…
DrIzad- Looks like I’m living your uni days everyday!..and I was thinking about hot drinks at the time… everyone else is tugged under their blanket busuk too at that hour…macam mau nangis fikir! Ha ha.. LoL
Aiyah..this KL thing ar, it reminds me of my very little time left in kk. will be back to shah alam very2 soon.

Shemah- It’s like sort of a tapai drink too. Only this one is ‘whithish’ in color and includes with the ‘beras-beras’ when you drink. I had this in Tambunan & Keningau. (I hope I explained it properly)
