Another KL Scene

Looks like the pressure of living in a big city like Kuala Lumpur has really taken it’s toll on some people. I saw this guy 2 days back sitting across the road from KLCC during the evening rush hour.

    The other night, I saw a homeless guy (well, I assumed he was homeless) sleeping at the bus stop. He was curled up like prawn, probably from the night’s chill. Poor guy didn’t have any blanket on him. I wanted to give him some money, but I was afraid..

    Just another reason why we’re lucky to live in a one season country. I was just reading the Matchstick girl story to Eu and as you know the little girl died in the end, frozen to death. At least, our homeless won’t have that worry.

    Aww Jewelle.. that Matchstick girl story always brings me to tears, even at this age! Now you remind me again.. :( I remember I saw that Matchstick girl movie some time in Christmas (as a girl) and it totally spoil the holiday cheers for me. :|

    The little girl who sells matches for a living bah. She’d go:

    “Matches.. pretty matches…”
