Blogger Booze, 21 July 2007 @ Modesto’s Hartamas Walk Plaza Damas (Session 2)
I think we arrived like only at 11:00pm +++++. Very late in Malaysian standard I think. It was supposed to be 9pm. Got confused a little bit when I got there. Was not really sure which section of Modesto’s was it. But the Advertlets banner was the guiding light. There it was.
Entering the place, the first thing I noticed was this shiny figure zooming up and down and all around. Once my eyes got used to the dim place, only then I noticed it was the Gallivanter himself. He he he… He was socializing with everyone. I tapped his shoulder from behind and he went “Whoahh!.. Etc-etc-etc” Very interesting character. Funny guy man! I almost thought he was a Sabahan cos he was using some Sabahan slang. Since I was late, I did not had much chance to get to know the other bloggers. The only bloggers I recognized was Gallivanter and Ratu Syura. Oh, did I tell you the Foreign Beauty was there too?
It was a cool party I guess. But everyone was like almost done with the place and a few people were already leaving. Gallivanter and gang announced to the rest of th e people that they were heading to another place called ‘Laundry’ where you can get cleaned after a long day.
Oh, Josh Lim bought us a jug when the drink that we ordered came as we were chatting. Pretty cool dude. I heard there were some games earlier too, but like I mentioned, I was late so I would have missed out a lot.
Moral of the story, make sure your bike or car is in good condition whenever you are coming for any blogger event. You don’t want to end up like me, coming in late and missing out the fun. OK. When is the next one? Must make sure the Sabahan’s bloggers in KL come along too.
Some Snapshot to make you wish you could have drop that remote control and be there instead:

hi, was browsing a friend’s blog & came across urs. i had a classmate in primary school with exactly the same name as u. just wondering if ur that person
Who is this “some Sabahan guy”? That crooked glasses, is that a new trend?
Kaybee_Dino- Where were you? In Sabah? Sk StPeter, Kudat? SM St Peter, Kudat? Sm St Patrick, Tawau? or was it SMK Kuhara, Tawau? I was in all of them.
Gallivanter- Don’t know lah. He seemed to be in the frame everytime I take a photo. No shame lah. I heard the crooked glass is the ‘in’ thing now. To get the effect, drop your glasses near a wall and try to stop it from dropping on the floor using your knee.
Owhh, you stayed in Tawau last time?? Me too! My brother was in SMK Kuhara for only form 1 though. I think he’s your age.. 1976?? After that we pindah KK..
Anways, it was nice meeting up with you Kay!! Tapi sayang you datang lambat.. We should do it again.. Well, till next time.. cya~!
Ratu Syura- Yes I was. Had a great time too! I was staying in this hostel called ‘Asrama Yayasan Sabah, Tawau’. All boys. That’s where I learned to be independent. Wash own underwear, trim the grass, kena ‘regging’ and become senior and ‘regging’ balik.
There will always be a next time!
Oh cool, I guess si Gallivanter tu getting his daily practice in Sabahan nowadays!
Oh wow!! What a fun night you all had! I see Cindy too!
Ann: Shhh.. that wasn’t me.
Eh Kay, how come you get the badge while I get the white one? Uwaaaaaaaa… the black one looks prettier! Mo minta sama si Josh lagi ni. Hahahaha!
I mean: How come you get the black badge while I have the white one…
Jewelle- Maklumlah, got someone to teach him
Ann- We should have. Cindy? Where?
Cindy- Ya lah. Why did I get this one? Why? Best lah.
wahhh main syiokk…guess i missed this one too!
Shana- We sure did. I like the Ayam goreng.
Dari gambar2, nampak syioklah kamurang. Bila lah kita semua berjumpa dis
PaPa- So much fun. Until I can’t sleep that night thinking of my badge and that oily fried chicken…
i miss out this opurtunity…

iCalvyn- I’m sure it’s gonna happen sooner than we thought.
