Pesta Kaamatan, Gawai dan Panen Peringkat Keuskupan Agung Kuala Lumpur 06 Julai 2008, St Anthony’s Church Kuala Lumpur

Sarawak BabeI know… such a long title.

I had the chance to be part of this wonderful harvest Festival event organized by the St Anthony’s church. I’m taking this opportunity to thank each and everyone involved in the event for letting me ‘menyibuk’ and play with the band. I have to say it was an awesome event. It was a hot day, we were tired like nobody’s business but it’s all good! We had Kadazandusun performances, Murut, Iban, Kenyah, Flores, Phillipines and also from the Orang Asal.. oh and also Indian! Talk about real ‘Bangsa Malaysia‘ man!! (I hope I did not miss out other races)

I made a very simple video/slideshow of this event. I did not manage to take many shots since I was on stage helping out most of the time. I even sang my “This is Kaamatan” song. Thanks people!!

Oh and the Sumandaks…?? Everyone looked so beautiful man…

Back to morning work schedule (at least for now)

My lovely boss (hope she reads this) has made some changes that includes me moving back to the morning work routine. So now I get to have my so called ‘normal’ life back again. The past weeks has been exciting and frustrating at the same time. But it’s all good I guess. At least this is the song that’s playing in my head now..

My girlfriend has nice big books

Zoomi BooksYou’ve checked out Amazon.com. Cool. They sell books and stuff. But most of us who’ve been to a book store will have to agree on this I believe, there’s no place like the book store! Browsing around those rows of shelf is what makes the whole experience worthwhile. It’s like trying to win a heart of a girl..after all that talking, wooing, crooning and whatever that is associated with courting a girl, it’s really one joyful moment when she finally say, “okay, you can buy me a mocha today”.

Anyway just trying to prove a point. Now you can browse online books like never before. you can zoom in, go between shelves and more. It’s quick it’s easy it’s Zoomi.com!

So far they haven’t started selling MP3 players. Maybe one day. Imagine that huh? You can even buy fruits too perhaps?

Where I had my first Kiss

(Kids if you are reading this, perhaps you may want to seek some parental guidance otherwise just Google it)

kiss
kissStill remember your first kiss? C’mon, don’t pretend to be shy. I bet you can even remember how the surroundings looked like, the smell or aroma that was associated with the moment and of course that “It’s now or never” moment when you close your eyes and still tried peeking a little bit and not to mention how that heart of yours went pounding… afraid but excited at the same time. You’ll be shouting in your head “arghh!! It’s happening? What should I do? What should I do? What If he thinks I’m a bad kisser no? Yes!”

So there you go people. That first kiss. How can we ever forget that special moment.

Oh by the way the reason I brought this topic up is that there is a website that dedicate it’s site to all the first kisses around the world. Using Google map, you can plot the map to where your actual first kiss took place. I tried it out and it works. Shit! Now I can’t remove it… and seems like Sabahans haven’t plot out any kisses yet at this point of writing. (Lucky I did not put her name and IC number… if not mati lah!!)

I found this one from Puchong area. Interesting..LoL!

to kiss you, so that i can ‘open up’/ ‘unlock’ your mouth to get you talking to me that night when i was driving from Putrajaya back to your house on the X’mas eve of 2006. You were so stubborn that you don’t want to talk to me, unless i can give you (hot) kisses on the way back. I waited no chance as i barely have traffic light stop. Then i was so desperate, and drove you to some place in Puchong where i can ’settle’ this problem in my car… we kissed dearly, and i got so high ^ _^ What a nice and crazy idea, my dear!

Go and check out all the first kisses around the world.
