After staying in Bukit Jalil area for almost a year, I will be staying back in Puchong. The distance between my work place and the place I stay will be a little further now. Perhaps adding another 20 minutes to the distance. I will be missing Bukit jalil. It’s one fine place to live I must say. Strategically situated, you get access to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Serdang conveniently. The property price here in Bukit Jalil has also gone up thanks to developments around the are. I’m sure the property insurance quotes will have very interesting numbers to show.

Given a choice, and money of course, I will definitely pick Bukit Jalil for a place to live as well as property investment.

Before the Chinese New Year Celebration, our year end bonus was being paid into our accounts like really early of the month. Now the funny thing is, everyone kept to themselves. Reason being is that the amount was rather ‘huge’. Probably thinking that we got an extra month bonus compared to others. Well the amount is nothing to shout about. Doesn’t even come close to buying a franchise license or anything but enough to make one smile from ear to ear since it’s an amount which we have never receive before.

But what a bummer when we found out that it was actually our next months pay being added together! Yeah…. ouch.

Looks like the time has come again for us to say goodbye to the previous year. In this case, it’s 2010. I like 2010. 2010 has been a good year. I made new friends, reorganized my finances, lost (some) weight and discover new sports. Technology wise, I only got myself a beat up HP Windows mobile phone. No iphone 4 insurance and stuff for me there..

2011 will be a challenging one that’s for sure. We might have the General Elections and not to mention the rising cost of living. So let’s all join our hands and sing Kumbayah My Lord for 2011. [Music starts]

I was having a chat in Gmail (yeah you can chat in your email you know?) with my best friend. The topis was about life and how we want to succeed. Who doesn’t right? I mean if all in life you get to sit on you favorite sofa flipping channels and that makes you feel good then that perhaps is the meaning of success for you.

So we went on to talking about this guy she knew. He runs a car wash business in Kota Kinabalu area. He is like so successful he sends his momma for shopping trips to the United Kingdom. He started almost 20 years ago doing car wash by offering his services to car owners. Sort of like the people who wash your car in your office area or condo area. He runs 4 car wash centers now. So what’s stopping us? Are we too shy to take out the nice branded clothes that we wear everyday to work to do door to door sales, selling nasi lemak, maw someones lawn or offering acne treatment taking house calls and stuff?

Just DUIT!!!
