My morning routine was shaken up a little today. You see, I just love reading the news on my pocket PC whenever I am in the toilet while doing my uh… uhmm Business. I really think that sitting there just staring at the wall is not beneficial and time wasting. Might as well do 2 things instead of one right?

As usual after finishing my business and reading the online news (It happened to be about 2 American Soldiers missing in Afghanistan) I put that HTC phone on the shelf near the sink. Brushing my teeth happily while humming to the tune of a Sabah song, I put the toothpaste back where it belonged. And oops! I accidentally shoved that poor pocket pc off the shelf. It hits the edge of the pail then ploop! The tip was submerged a little into some clothes I was soaking. Its guts was all over. Damn…

I should stick to reading them Amazon books instead of reading from my phone. I will try to put her back together tonight. Hopefully she fires up. If not then… time to get a new phone perhaps.

Let’s see…… some of us do not have the luxury of having satellite TV or here in Malaysia the most popular (and only) provider, ASTRO. I have been trying those popular website like justin.tv, rojadirecta.com and also fromsport.com. They are alright but since the streaming are coming from various sources, you will have different languages, player limitations and even streaming issues. you may end up not able to watch your favorite matches in peace.

Well worry not football fans, because you know what? ASTRO of Malaysia is providing you with free matches to view online. Yes I am not joking. Here’s how you can watch Spanish (ha ha!) in the finals on your PC

1. Go to astro.com.my
2. Look fo a menu on top called ASTRO EXTRAS
3. There will be a drop down list. Select Watch Online.
4. As a first timer, you will be prompted to sign up.
5. Sign up and you will receive an activation link in the e-mail that you used for registration (this will also be your login ID)
6. Select a match that are playing live
7. (You will need to install ‘Silverlite’ from Microsoft which is required before you can view matches
8. Get a beer an enjoy the show. If you have an LCD TV,l connect it with your PC/Laptop
