Currently Reading: Cell Factor by Dr Ross Walker
I had this book for like more than three years already. This will be my second time reading it. I have attended his seminar before and this is no ordinary doctor that you see in the clinic when you needed an ‘MC’.
Dr Ross Walker is a cardiologist from Australia. (Australia’s best known) as the book describes it. His approach to healthy living is really straight forward and sort of funny too. This book describes about how to achieve optimum cell health in a book that literally change your life. It demonstrates simple easy to achieve steps to ensure weight loss and improve energy and of course improve our quality of life.
He did manage to explain in simple terms about why obesity, cancer and even diabetes occur in us. All this while we have been bombarded with synthetic foods, with combination of chemicals and so many other weird scientific names which you will be sure is harmful in some ways just by reading the names. We can’t run away. It’s in our shampoo, in the water that we drink even in our shaving cream. Things happened at a cellular level before it becomes something else.
So by understanding these factors, it gives me knowledge in selecting my food better. No body says life should be boring. You can still eat your fast food, or drink alcohol but with better awareness and management of course. But bad stuff are always nice ya…
One of the thing suggested in his book is the importance of taking a vacation. Without a doubt, stress is also a major factor in contributing to our cells being effected by free-radicals and stuff. Go to a website like Orlando vacation home. That should help you out.
