ebuddy. Chat when you are in the bus, or in the toilet…
For those of you who can’t live without your instant messaging software, here’s another great little software for you. Perhaps some of you heard about this thing called e-buddy. It’s actually a web based messenger. That means just by using your browser, you’d be able to access and login to Yahoo Messenger or even MSN. GTalk and AIM are also supported.
They also have a version for your mobile phone. However, you need to download a .jar application for your mobile phone. Only mobile your normal mobile phone is supported. If you use pocket pc or smart phone, I believe it may not work. (Don’t ask ,me why)
So far I’ve been having fun with the mobile version. It’s very handy when you are waiting in a cue, in a bus or the LRT or perhaps just waiting for someone. You could instantly chat with your online buddies.
Here’s the link to the main website

Is that the software you used to IM me when you are in the LRT?
How much per msg do you have to pay ah?
Blusher- Exactly!
It uses GPRS so standard rates apply based on your network provider’s charges. They go by per kilobyte. I’m not really sure how much it cost for mine, but not really expensive. It does not use so much data. I’m using prepaid and it’s still OK.
No luck for me. I’m using Nokia 6233.
