What Mel may not remember is that I pretended to be her relative back in 1998 or 1999 at St Francis Convent, KK when meeting the class teacher to get the school report card. She should be in the 5th form then. At first I thought I was there only for my sister in law, but suddenly 2 (or was it 3) other girls appeared. So there I was, playing dumb, nodding away, saying yes to whatever the teacher says. If Mel’s reading this, jangan marah aaa, lama punya cerita bah
Ben- When I was in secondary school, I was staying in Asrama Yayasan Sabah Tawau. During the meet the parents / guardian day, I asked one of my fantastic hostel mate, a Bajau, I think his name is Datuk something. He pretended to be the hostel head. I was struggling very hard not to laugh because he is a funny guy who was always cracking jokes and when he was pretending to be concerned about my academic performance and all showing a serious face, I had to excuse myself somewhere else and laugh…
