Have you read this book by Robert Kiyosaki called ‘Rich Dad, poor Dad’?
I bought it sometime back and can’t figure out where on earth it is now. I bought it when I was fired up about being an entrepreneur and stuff. I did not make much money but although I no longer involved, attending seminars, reading books like ‘Magic of thinking Big’ and ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ did thought me so much about making a change. You can be happy as long as you choose to be! Of course you don’t have to be in real estate like what Kiyosaki did. You can still do it by blogging.
I find peace when I blog because I’m actually in touch with my own self. There’s this ‘little’ conversations that goes on in my head all the time when I’m posting something. (Maybe I’m going mad?) Plus the blog does pay for itself and more sometimes. Will this blog be the key to my financial freedom? Of course not! But it does play a part as the door.

I read the book during my 3rd year at Uni around 2005 and it struck me like KABOOM!
I have always think that money is the root of all evil. After reading the book, Robert Kiyosaki revolutionized the way I perceive money. During school getting good grades is the only thing that matters. We were brainwashed that this is the only way to achieve the happily ever after life. In time, in the real world, this is wrong. My blame partially goes to the Malaysian education system for not emphasizing enough the important of money in any school subjects. But this is a lesson we can all learn and the best part is we can always start from our own family - the children. Educate them the important of money not to become slave but rather the master of it as Robert Kiyosaki said it well in this book, money is just an idea.
Sunsuron- Well put my friend. Since school days I have been wondering, is this life after school? Working for 30-40 years and then retire happy with just enough money to help your kids get married?
Something had to change starting with the mindset. I am still not rich yet. But I sure feel like one
I got 3 versions of Robert Kiyosaki. I read all but practice a few. Invest only to those things that produce money. Like my laptop. Im halfway getting back the price I bought it… so I guess Im one of Robert’s student.
