Hooray! Now you can withdraw your PayPal money!
According to Shahril Bin Samsudin from his post called “Unofficial guide for Paypal..“, one of the ways to do it is to open up an US HSBC savings account. By having the ATM card, you can easily withdraw them moolah that you have been keeping in PayPal. I tried his advice by writing to HSBC US but it’s been sometime now and they have not replied me yet. Hmmm..2 days back I wrote to HSBC Malaysia asking about how I can open a US account. Want to know what the reply was. Yes, it is possible. Only a few little paperwork and you are all done.
The only setback is, I need a sponsor, some USD 2000 + Rm1000 + other fees to start off. Here’s the reply I got from em’ friendly HSBC people.

Hmm.. on the introducer part, I might be able to get “her” to introduce us to HSBC. By “her” I mean “she” who have the moolah and the name in banks.. (you know who)

the information you get is WRONG!
From the email, the HSBC account is FCA Account, which is Foreign Currency Account.
which is mean a USD account in HSBC Malaysia, is not a USD account in HSBC US!
so it won’t work.
