How I spent my Kaamatan.. the extended version
There I was…feeling lonely and a little bit sleepy because of my lack of sleep, I was just about to grumble and leave the shop when lo and behold! I saw this bright light shining right at me (actually it was a car driving in to park in front of the shop) and then there was this three ladies coming straight at me. With my vision a little blurred due to the light, I slowly regained my sight…
Apparently they were representing a church and they are on their rounds to collect donations. The nice thing about it is they don’t give you stickers and stuff but they sing for you! Yep. I was kind of excited since I love music mah… So I paid them Rm10. They played for 56 seconds…aiyah… I thought we can sing all the oldies until we can sing no more… too bad. Maybe I should have asked Rm8 back… (Okay just kidding) So, I so called sang along to the tune. Yeah the overplayed “When You Say Nothing at All” song. ( I think I kinda sang out of tune too)
