Insurance, is it that important?

What’s your opinion on insurance? Do you insure your pets? What about your life? I know some folks who say things like, “I don’t need insurance since I’m investing my money into health food and supplements alone. That’s my insurance!”. I almost thought so too until I discovered that when I am gone, my loved one will not be able to continue with their lives by just selling the vitamins that I have in stock…because end of the day, people still need money to live on. By the way, based on past statistics, for us Malaysians, life expectancy was recorded at 73 years old. (2003) However I’m sure you have your life insurance sorted out if you are really serious about it.
But what about other insurance? How much do you love your pet? Would you actually get them a Pet Insurance? After all, they deserve something back with all the ‘loyalty’ they gave you right? What about your brand new Toyota Camry? Would you take just a normal insurance you would rather get the best Car Insurance that money can buy? After all you worked hard for that baby. Oh, speak about car, that brings me to traveling. Going overseas for holidays and relaxation is one sure way to beat the stress. Unfortunately no holiday can be enjoyable especially when you lost your luggage and valuables. That is why every smart holiday goers will at least get a Travel Insurance quote before hand just to be safe which brings us to home insurance. You would not want to come back from that fantastic vacation just to see your house being broken into now would we? Everyone knows that there is such thing as a Cheap Home Insurance. Hope I did not make you feel bad about insurance in the end. After all, the world is not really a perfect place.
