Know what those codes on those plastic containers mean

advertisement

My friend Blusher forwarded me an e-mail that contains part of these info.

Ever noticed those triangular shapes normally found at the bottom of a plastic container or your polystyrene take-away packets? Apparently those stuff are meant to identify the material compound of the plastic. From the sound of it, most of those chemical names sounds like some some world war II kind-of-chemical meant to kill an enemy instantly or at least made their skin peel off so they could not fight well… comfortably..

Oh, and it may be harmful if you re-heat your food stuff in containers made of plastic…well at least if it doesn’t say so. But then again it’s plastic. Find out more here.

Hmm.. I wonder if pool floats are safe to be used under the sun?

I’ll check the pool floats out, the next time I go swimming. *winks*
I think, we humans are quite pitiful these days. Cannot expose too much to the sun lah….skin cancer lah. Cannot sit in front of PC for too long lar…radiation lar. Macam macam ‘taboos’. How I wish for the good old days where lives were so much simpler and less worries.
