Okay. Remember I said I did not know much about Maya Karin, our local actor whom we met at the Concorde from my Food Experience # 13 post? Well, I did some ‘Googling’ around and there were some info here and there. I would not know whether or not all of them were accurate but here goes:

#1 I found out that there is a myspace profile of her. Yeah? I’m not sure if it was done by a fan or by herself but it looks rather uninteresting… The layout is bad and stuff, even the color tone. Maybe she did this a long time ago…Oh, by the way, the profile says she likes ‘Milo Ais’ (iced Milo)

#2 Wikipedia looked more convincing.It says that she is only 28 this year. When I saw her she looks way younger. She doesn’t look like she needs any progesterone treatment any time soon. Maya Karin actually has German, Malay, Chinese and Indian blood. Talk about mixed parentage! She’s the eldest among three siblings and she did some theater works in Indonesia before graduating from Lim Kok Wing University in media and marketing. Check out her Wikipedia info here
#3 There’s a fan site dedicated to Maya Karin. But this website needs people to register. They do allow ‘previews’ but not much good info there. Everyone just talks some and you don’t get that real fan site feel of sort. Comments like “jom kahwin ngan I Maya, amacam set?” (let’s get married Maya, alright?) makes you go huh?
