After arriving in Kunak via Air Asia on 20thDec 2006, we started our 900++ km journey from Kunak to Kudat early morning on the 22th. The journey was really cool. Only thing was the 8-9 hrs of driving..I did help my dad on th last 200+km :D

Church of St Peter Kudat. What great memories I have here. It would be at least 15 years ago since I last stepped into this church.

This is one shop that I used to frequent when I was a kid. I’d dig my savings money that my parents had strictly made us save and use it to buy toys. I checked the place out but there were hardly any toys to be seen now.

The rain was quite heavy during the last few days of December 2006. We even experienced flood in my kampung. My wife and her parents and some other family members were supposed to be back on the 30th. Because of the flood, they were unable to do so. They had to take new flight this time from MAS the next day.

DSC00712 (Custom).JPGMy dad was shoving some earth after a small mudslide at the back of his house. Don’t worry. I did help him out as well, but it was only the next day lar..

Well that’s as much as I can put here. It was really fun, seeing my parents and meeting up with the other family members. I would like to make this not just a yearly occasion but a frequent one…

I get my fuel from my music. Help me replace my guitar strings. Click the guitar.

Happy Belated New Year! Wow, nice to see the inside of St. Peter’s Church again. My family and I lived there (Kudat) for a year in 1987 and I was in St. Peter’s School. Last visited Kudat in 2004 and the place still looks the same, charming. I remembered walking down from Golden Hill down to town, along the embankment to fish. Great times.
