Road Block Encounter

I thought of putting this post after reading MrBadak’s post entitled ‘Saya Anti Rasuah‘. I never offered or anything like that. Maybe I just don’t have it in me. Let’s see, I have been stopped by on 3 occasions I guess. All while using my ‘trusted’ Suzuki VS125 scooter. First time was when I’m still using the ‘P’ sticker. The back sticker peeled off and just after watching a movie with my cousin they just had to have a road block just around some corner. No negotiations there. Second time was near Subang Parade. I did an illegal U-Turn when a policeman with a ‘Saya Anti Rasuah’ badge stopped me immediately. He said this one will cost me RM300! Well a few months after that, I did pay the summon, I had a discount too! Something like RM30 or RM50? Can’t remember. The third one happened near the Sunway Toll. I was riding without a road tax for like half a year. I was worried sick. The policeman happened to be a Sabahan. (Name-face-accent) After checking my license he asked,”Road Tax, mana?” I said “Sini bawah tempat duduk” (Under scooter seat has a compartment mah), then he said “Di bawah kah, aih!. Tidak payah lah. Bah, jalan lah”. Thank you Lord! Ha ha. I renewed my road tax after 1 week or so after that. By the way, I posted a comment on MrBadak’s blog for his ‘Saya Anti Rasuah‘ post and I found out it was from Malaysiakini.com
