Sad but True
I saw this story on CNN one late night a few days back. They actually showed the footage of a girl named Du’a Khalil Aswad who was stoned, kicked and humiliated in public by a few men. After going through all the savagery, She died half an hour later. Her own brother was also spotted in the footage. I was truly saddened to see such horrific images. Du’a is not the only victim of course. There are many others who died without any coverage from the media when it comes to this act called ‘Honor Killing’.

I saw that from Ammu’s blog too.. I couldn’t even let myself see the photos, let alone the video! See how cruel people can be.. even her own brother didn’t have the mercy for her!!!
How people can get away with acts of barbarism in this day and age baffles me….

Gallivanter Perhaps the international community is doing something. But maybe those country’s governing body is just afraid of change…or don’t want? It’s diferent when you come across such stories in the Bible and stuff but to see it happening today… dunno what to say lah..just sad
This kind of thing sickened me too. It’s unbelievable that there are some who still think that this is right. Worse than animal, all of them.
