The Government decides to pay me
I checked my snail mail mailbox today and saw this rather ‘important’ looking letter. You know… the brown color envelope that Government would send to you with the BIG word that says ‘Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda‘?. (By appointment of His Majesty) is that a correct translation? Anyway, I opened up and saw some figures in there. Gosh am I owing the government again? I thought I paid already? I already had so much bills and why does this have to be like middle of the month every time? Their timing is always perfect. What lah…that’s when I realize it was a check in my name…. I love my government. They are the best!

Very obvious and familar to me, it was tax refund.
I got it almost every year since 2003/4 when I decided to appoint a tax agent to handle my income taxt return.
You won’t know how much you can save from tax until you meet up with your tat agent.
