The Kota Kinabalu bloggers first blogger event? Betul ka tu? (Is it true?)
After the much hyped, highly commented and anticipated bloggers meet in Kota Kinabalu last Saturday, a few of the Sabahan blogs I subscribe to reported about the event. After a few changes in terms of venue and the list, looks like it was quite a success. Of course I only based that on their smiling faces. Sad that many of my favorite bloggers are there and I can’t meet them face to face.
The event was held at the Pirates of Borneo. It’s a restaurant I think. But there was also an option to have it on a cruise boat or something. Isn’t that great? Based on the photos from posts from people like MrBadak, Jacq, PaPaJoneh, it really looks like a nice place to bring friends and family. From the pictures I can see wooden tables and chairs which suits nicely with the surroundings. They don’t use any wood blinds for the marine windows though.
It was great to at least find out how or what these bloggers are like based on the posts from those who went there as well as from the photos. I wish I could have been there. But what to do? I’m not financially free yet. So for those Sabahan’s who missed out that event, there’s another bloggers event that we may be able to go and be merry once again. It’s simply called Blogger Booze. Go to Gallivanter’s post and get the details there. It’s happening on the 21st August July 2007, at the Modesto’s Hartamas Walk @ Hartamas Shopping Centre, Plaza Damas. So…sabahans especially those who are like me stuck in KL for whatever reason, shall we go together-gether?
