Valentines music

So Valentine’s day is here. The world seem to have accepted the idea that every 14 February is a day for all ‘lovers’ to celebrate. I have been living on planet earth for like over thirty years and yeah, I have done stuff to impress my girlfriends at that time. From buying a bunch of flowers to being creative like making my own valentine gift cards where you burn the edges of a paper and stick em’ in the card to give it that rusty old look? There you go, some of you are smiling already..

Well, this Valentine season don’t forget there are some others who are going to be alone, just broke up or perhaps got caught trying to be funny with their spouse. Well, Kay Stanford never forget you. I dedicate this song to everyone out there who will be looking at other couples having a good time in the restaurant, in the cinema or even at the mall walking side by side, holding hands. A song I wrote last year and I have added some other music parts this time around to give it an acoustic rock kind of feel. (I know my singing and musical arrangements is still far from that commercial sound)

So lonely people out there, here’s something to remind you of your broken heart. Sorry mates. I haven’t written a happy song yet. This valentine song is called
“She doesn’t love you anymore”

Here’s the Chorus:

She doesn’t love you anymore
You had some good times but she wants more
Nothing is for certain
Make your own confession
Life is like a journey, pick a road cos’ there’s plenty

Oh yeah..there’s too many pitch problems and grammar issues too. Looks like I’m not going to Hollywood.

Thats quite cool, are you singing? Sounds very professionally done, did you record at a studio or at home?

  8. Kay Stanford Jr Kastum on February 17th, 2008

Gobala- Yep.. and it’s all done at home in my mini studio/office/a place to iron our clothes..

Believe it or not, I’ve been with my boyf for more than 6 years and we’ve never celebrated V-day before. And I’ve never received any V-day gift in my life.. V-day is so totally overrated!

Anyhoot, your song is cool! :D

RatuSyura- Well, you are not ‘obliged’ to celebrate V day. You can show your affection at other unexpected times you see. Agree with you.

Thanks for the compliment. Still a long way to go. Need to write more songs, upgrade more tools etc…that’s why must attend more of Gobala’s Internet Millionaires sessions so I can pursue with my passion.
