What was your favourite old school game?

I was not an avid gamer back then even now. I was born in 1976. But like other kids, I was also hooked on certain games like Nintendo or Atari. Pac-Man? Cool. I kind of liked the Mario Bros, although I suck at it. Donkey Kong is also fun.. I dig Dig Dug too. But my favorite is actually a tennis game. I forgot what the actual name was. Very cool 8-bit stuff!

I never owned one myself though. Dad will not let me I guess. I usually get excited when my cousin comes over because he will usually bring his Nintendo game with all the game cartridge for me to explore.

Tech Republic is currently having a Poll on the Greatest Arcade games of the 80’s. So far pac-Man is the favorite.

Wow, we got hardcore playas here! My latest favourite is Worms World Party which I had installed in my pocket pc. I played it whenever I’m really not doing stuff like in the toilet, LRT, before sleeping….until I lost it during a heavy rain

Jewelle- Oh. You have a brother? Does he have a blog too?
Times sure have changed. But these stuff are making a come back, just like fashion. last time, in the early 90’s, we will make fun of teachers wearing ‘bell bottom’ pants. Now, I kind of dig it.

Awwwhhhh…. my personal favourite Dig Dug isn’t listed… ah well, it’s “others” for me then :)

How come nobody listed “main getah” or “main tapak”? :(

You know, the rubber band we use to tie vegetables? And then girls would tie the rubber band together, making a whole (err.. dunno what) long “thingy” where we can jump on it. Zero Point! even have Merdeka jump.

And who could forget “TAPAK”!!! The mini cards with pictures of Spiderman la, Superman la.. you gather the cards together and you slap your palm on the table. Whichever card goes upside down is yours! LOL!
