What’s up Advertlets.com.my?
I got a shock this evening when I tried to view my blog and my family blog. I seriously thought the home pc was infected with some kind of trojan. I checked and that was not the case. I kept being redirected to this website called www.adbaaz.com/!#%#@%##$. And what do you know, there was a www.advertlet.com in the page as well. Hmmm…
What I did was I deleted the advertlets java scripts in my pages and hola! All my pages was not redirected anymore. Hmmm… Advertlets forget to renew domain name and hosting kah?
Here’s what I get. I’m sure everyone who has Advertlets code installed in their website suffered the same fate..

I was told the same thing by blogger buddy Carol. She said my site couldnt be accessed but I was able to access it, though..
She did the same as you too.. only then it was fine..

Yup. I also experience this problem too. Then I have to remove their code for this time being. I guess, they didn’t pay their bills

Just now I checked my sis’ blog at forevertulip.com where she haven’t taken out the code. It is still pointing to adbaaz.com/!@#$@%….
Ben- Looks like they are still working on it…
Perhaps you should help Cindy out with removing the Advertlets code. Her sites are effectively having 0 traffic for the past 24 hours plus.

Yup..I think Cindy’s website’s also infected. I can’t get to her blog.
It’s good now, I’ve taken away advertlets codes. Oh and a reminder, those who were redirected to adbaaz.com should have their computer scan’d, cause I found out that there is a trojan virus in the website itself. Cleaned mine earlier.
