You’ve got snail mail, from Google
I received a snail mail from Google. Wow. When you see that colorful logo of theirs, you really feel like Walt Disney was writing to you. Of course there’s no mention of me getting $5000 USD from their Adsense program. It’s just a PIN code to enter so they will be able to send money once it reaches a certain amount. I wonder when can I have enough ‘moolah’ to actually buy some Century furniture?

Ben, whats the charge for CIMB? i dont have account there… so i think troublesome to open new account, which need cash lagi…oh well..

papajoneh: i got the info at liewcf (he did a post specifically on the best banks to bank in adsense cheques) that CIMB (also known as BCB) and Bank Muamalat charge the lowest fees. BCB charge RM10 (and I can vouch for that!) and Bank Muamalat RM5 only if I remember correctly MENJ wrote. Since I already have BCB account it was just a matter of using the cheque deposit machine (nr Standard Chartered Bank, middle of KK City). mrbadak also use BCB/CIMB. Bank Muamalat also have branch in KK (in Asia City if not mistaken). And as Gaman said, never use Maybank - they probably charge the highest fees to bank in foreign cheque.
yes that’s true ben, Maybank charge rm25 I think. I need to open a new CIMB account in that case!
i remembered when i received my pin number i read it maybe 5 times! i couldnt believe that one can make an earning from blogging..

Thanks Ben for the info. at RM10 yes the cheapest but to open new account again… need money again. I think like RM500 to open new account. So I guess my RM13 at Alliance is not bad for i do not have to fork another RM500.
